Nightclubs and discotheques are epicenters of pop culture. Since the 1960s, the vanguard is found in these places of questioning standards and creation of alternative realities. Thus, many nightclubs rise to the rank of total modern work, mixing unprecedented interior architecture and furniture design, art and graphic printing, light and music, fashion and performance. Nightfever. Designing Club Culture 1960 - Today is the first exhibition dedicated to a comprehensive international history of disco design and culture.

Among the examples presented, the Italian clubs of the 1960s created by personalities of the radical design, the legendary Studio 54, where Andy Warhol had his habits, the Haçienda of Ben Kelly in Manchester, until the concept of the architectural firm OMA for the Ministry of Sound of London.

Alongside furniture, models and fashion pieces, the exhibition also includes rare filmographic documentaries, music examples, graphic designs and contemporary positioning by artists and photographers such as Mark Leckey, Chen Wei and others. Musa N. Nxumalo.

Complemented by extensive musical installations with lighting effects, Nightfever. Designing Club Culture 1960 - Today takes the visitor on a fascinating journey through the subculture and the world of glamor.
