What you will achieve at level 1

- A skirt
- A reversible jacket with zipper
- (Bonus) A snood, a kit

What you will learn

The base

- The proper way the sewing material
- The use of a sewing machine (different feet, machine overcast)
- The straight line, the counter-wire, the big bias
- Pin and mark his work
- Simple sewing and machine stop
- English seam
- The folded seam
- The use of a serger
- The different clamps: simple, incised, spindle
- The visible zipper
- The gathers

Patronnage

- Decipher and use an existing pattern
- Create a simple skirt pattern from scratch
- Modify a pattern to adjust to the needs of the person

- The different folds: lying, flat and hollow
- Simple hem, double tucked in, invisible by hand; recumbent fold, hollow, flat
- Zipper
- Machine frills
- Slanted pocket
- Use several assembly techniques depending on the desired finish
