Gynecologist Marie-Paule Molitor-Peffer often questioned why Luxembourg's population knew so little about sexuality. Over time, she noticed that many were afraid of not having the appropriate vocabulary to express themselves in Luxembourgish, coupled with a significant sense of shame, which she attributed to 'a certain conservatism preventing discussions on sexuality.' As co-founder of Planning Familial, she worked to replace outdated moral notions with facts and encouraged individuals to raise their voice. Anne Schaaf, in her master's thesis, explored how these topics were addressed on RTL Radio in the 1980s, challenging taboos.
