The Bird Bridge

An easy 6.6 km loop starting from the charming village of Martelange, ideal for escaping into nature. The trail first leads you to the Passerelle des Oiseaux (Bird Footbridge), an impressive 150-meter-long wooden suspension structure that spans the Sûre River. Along the way, interpretive panels reveal the secrets of the local wildlife, and an observation tower offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley. Leaving the footbridge, the path gently leads into the Anlier Forest, one of the largest in Belgium and a designated Nature Park. Here, only birdsong and sunlight filtering through the pine trees accompany you. A soothing, immersive and restorative stroll, perfect for recharging your batteries in the heart of a setting worthy of a fairy tale.
