For the final of the International Virtuoso Competition, six candidates have been selected. Each will demonstrate their instrumental virtuosity before a knowledgeable jury – the audience. The fierce competition will culminate in a solemn ceremony where the trophy will be awarded. The evening will be hosted by an eloquent presenter and her skilled assistant, accompanied by original texts, creative comments, and entertaining digressions, with musical accompaniment by a three-member orchestra. Claude Lenners, an award-winning Luxembourgish composer and former fellow of the Académie de France at the Villa Medici, has composed the presented works. "SeleXion," a joint work by Claude Lenners and director Frank Hoffmann, provides a unique theatrical experience where the audience serves as the jury.
