The bilingual (French and German) traveling exhibition at the National Museum in Esch-sur-Alzette explores the lives and experiences of the 7000 women deported from France and Luxembourg during politically motivated repression. This exhibition sheds light on the social and national diversity of these women, examining how resistance and persecution were shaped by traditional gender roles.
