Artist Residency: At the Origins of the Line

Pedro Amaral, Portuguese artist and painter, concludes his artist residency at Canopée ASBL, where he invites the artistic collaboration of François Baldassare, writer-director and passionate painter. Between August and September, the two artists delve into an environment combining urban life and nature, surrounded by the Canopée garden located in the heart of the picturesque Pfaffenthal neighborhood. Inspired by the theme of the SOURCE, whether referring to water or creativity, they explore the connections between the natural cycle and the city, discovering an inexhaustible source of patterns and colors that fuel their art, while highlighting the beauty of harmony between the earth and urban life. This residency is part of the 'Arts & Potager' project.
