'Untitled' presents a new series of black and white paintings by Luxembourgish artist Monique Becker (*1958). Becker's large-scale paintings are constructed through layers of thick, textured brushstrokes forming almost sculptural surfaces. For the artist, black is a color rich in meaning, far from neutral. Her works, abstract and complex, explore emotions, memory, and the unspoken through a subtle play of revelations and concealments.
