The cathedral of Metz offers multiple representations of animals, mischievous monsters, hunting and battle scenes. But what is the meaning of this stone bestiary? Under the immense vaults of the Cathedral Saint-Étienne, the stones still whisper stories. Meet Pierre Perrat, the genius architect said to have made a pact with the devil.
