Following Sur tes épaules (22 • 23), choreographer Nawal Aït Benalla and Compagnie La Baraka, based in the Chapelle Sainte-Marie in Annonay, return to the Grand Théâtre with a piece that questions our new era of technological prowess and its relationship to the body. What will we do with our bodies tomorrow? Our body, this all-powerful tool capable of communicating with everyone, of uniting us regardless of class, culture, or education. Employing a metronomic and repetitive choreographic style, Ce qui nous traverse plays with ruptures and different rhythms. Conceived as a rite, as a trance, the performance engages the five dancers in constant transformation and allows them to be swept away by life's impulses.
