The rural queer collective Queer AexTaTiK is pleased to invite you to its first Queer Café on December 13, 2025, in Arlon - Chez René.e, 22 rue du Marché au beurre. On the agenda: Welcome.ex to have a drink, chat, and chill alone or with friends. Queer AexTaTiK welcomes you for a friendly get-together with wine and hot apple juice... chat and discover the activities planned for 2026. Screening of the film "Famille choisi" (Chosen Family) directed by Élisa Vdk. Massie, Addi, Lylybeth, and Joy are four non-binary artists at a turning point in their careers on a vibrant drag scene in Brussels. While this chosen family is close-knit and supportive, their biological families often struggle to understand their identity and their profession. Many truths and emotions remain unspoken. Their avant-garde shows, sometimes hilarious, sometimes deeply moving, often both, draw directly from their daily struggles. On stage, they find the energy to force their way through our society. With each increasingly remarkable performance, a quest for recognition of their identity and artistic identity emerges. These artists yearn for something essential: the need to embrace who they are and, above all, to be accepted for who they are.
