In a world flooded with information, we are daily confronted with a mixture of facts, opinions, and intentional false reports. The rise of generative artificial intelligence has dramatically increased this challenge: visual 'evidence' such as images and videos can no longer easily be considered authentic.
This workshop teaches how to recognize different forms of disinformation and provides journalistic methods and digital tools to help. The aim is to empower people to strengthen their media literacy and apply these critical skills in everyday life.
The ability to question information critically is a fundamental democratic skill.
