Taking stock of Belgian and international documentary cinema of the year, the En ville! festival is a multifaceted event to tell the story of our territories, their imaginaries, those who inhabit them and bring them to life.
27 recent Belgian and international films, 18 Belgian premieres, including the latest films by José Luis Guerín, Gala Hernandez Lopez, Nicolas Wadimoff, Kamal Aljafari, Vivienne Perelmuter, and Isabelle Ingold; competitive sections and special screenings; conviviality and networking opportunities; a guided tour of Brussels with "Architecture That De-Genders"; a radio listening session; an exceptional masterclass led by director Rosine Mbakam on the work of Senegalese filmmaker Samba Félix Ndiaye; and professional meetings. In short, a diverse and complementary program to create a multifaceted festival, reflecting the diversity of our cities.
