An orchestra at Vauban
Concert evening featuring famous film scores
Founded in 1919, the Musikverein “Almenrausch” Rehlingen is one of the most dynamic wind orchestras in the Saarland region, on the Franco-German border. Composed of around fifty passionate musicians, the ensemble offers a rich and accessible repertoire blending major works for wind orchestra, film scores, and festive pieces from the Germanic tradition.
This orchestra is conducted by Yannick Erel, a music teacher at the school for 20 years. Thanks to his performances with this orchestra, the German state awarded him the gold medal set with diamonds as a prize for performance and for his 25-year career as a conductor.
Join us for a musical evening celebrating Pirates of the Caribbean, Bohemian Rhapsody and even Frozen!
