11 years under its belt, thousands of outings discovered and still just as many ideas in the pipeline! For its 11th anniversary, Supermiro is treating itself to a new website, a new app and a few surprises. Shall we tell you about it?
11 YEARS OLD, ALL OUR TEETH… AND STILL JUST AS MANY WACKY IDEAS!
Once upon a time, there were two brains buzzing with ideas: eLfy and Christophe.
They had the slightly crazy idea of creating the media outlet that whispers in your ear about the best things to do, hidden gems and experiences that make life a little more wonderful in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. And here we are, 11 years later! 🥳
Well, let's be honest: the journey hasn't always been smooth sailing. For starters, we nearly called ourselves Moostach (it happens just under your nose… get it?) and then Moon Brout, in other words, the moon grazer. Yes, really. Fortunately, Supermiro eventually won out.
January 2015: the very first website goes live. No advertising budget, no major launch campaign. Just an idea, lots of elbow grease and a good dose of word of mouth. Little by little, word of mouth turned into a community, discoveries kept coming and Supermiro began to make its mark.
Since then, we've collected far more than things to do: awards, sometimes completely wild marketing campaigns, ball fishing at the legendary Fête du Slip… In short, we've never really been the type to do things by halves!
And then came Covid. Even in lockdown, we didn't put our ideas away in a cupboard. From home, we continued to make you smile and add a little magic to your everyday life with our Valentine's Day and Easter boxes.
Today, Supermiro has grown considerably: thousands of things to do uncovered, places brought into the spotlight, unlikely events, encounters and, above all, an impressive collection of memories. We grew alongside you, explored the country in every direction and, if we're still here after 11 years, it's thanks to our tremendous desire to help you discover what's happening right next door.
After all, life is still much nicer when you always have a little plan in your pocket 💛
NEW LOOK, SAME GRAIN OF MADNESS: SUPERMIRO GETS A MAKEOVER!
For our 11th birthday, we didn't settle for just a cake and a few balloons. No, no. We decided to give you a new website and a new app! 📱
More beautiful, more practical, more intuitive… We rethought everything so that finding your next outing becomes child's play. Whether you're more into an impromptu stroll, a meal out with friends, an activity with the kids or a completely wild experience, we want you to find exactly what you're looking for in just a few clicks.
Behind the scenes, there were ideas, tests, discussions (lots of discussions) and a few coffees to keep up the pace. But above all, there was just one obsession: making your life easier and giving you even more reasons to go out.
APP'ÉRO USERS: AROUND THIRTY VIPS, DUCKS, AND WAY TOO MUCH LOVE AT THE BOX OFFICE!
To celebrate this new adventure properly, we brought together around thirty carefully selected super users at our offices. No red carpet or paparazzi, but a wonderful bunch of people who bring Supermiro to life every day, just like our 83,000 monthly users. And honestly, we couldn’t have dreamed of a better cast!
On the agenda: testing our new app and brand-new website, lively discussions, a question box (à la Canal+… but much more INSANE!), little love notes, reunions and even a duck hunt! 🦆
We wanted to show you our new baby, gather your feedback, listen to your wishes, but also get a good dose of love. Because after all, who better than you to tell us what makes you want to click, discover and go out?
And because a birthday is also something to celebrate with your taste buds, we took the opportunity to introduce you to YS-ONE, our new office neighbor, located just below our offices. On the menu: wonderful Asian flavors and the friendly atmosphere we love. Thank you to the team for this lovely, flavor-filled moment.
And to end on a sweet note, we were able to count on our brand-new gourmet partner: THE DOUGH SOCIETY. Delicious homemade cookies, prepared with loooooove… and clearly plenty of talent, since they were a huge hit! A massive THANK YOU for this ultra-indulgent break 🍪

SUPERMIRO LAUNCHES ITS 11TH ANNIVERSARY VINTAGE! 🥂
If we had to sum up Supermiro in a few words, it would probably be: dare, imagine and never do what everyone else does. Since day one, we’ve loved turning slightly crazy ideas into very real experiences (and memories that last!).
A Fête du Slip here, an XXL cocktail party there, an unusual dinner in cable cars or even a karaoke night with a Canadian twist… Let’s just say we’ve never really been good at doing things the conventional way! We love surprising people, bringing them together, shaking up habits and, above all, creating lovely moments 🤓
Our love for Luxembourg is as big as our imagination, so eLfy, our CEO, picked up her pencils to bring some brand-new illustrations to life. Illustrations that share our lovely vision of the country, with a healthy dose of creativity and that little touch of humour we love so much. And guess what? They’re available right here!
To mark the occasion, we also decided to put our 11 years in a bottle! A special cuvée that sparkles, dressed in our illustrations and filled with a concentrated dose of the Supermiro spirit (and crémant, incidentally). So, fancy discovering this collector’s cuvée?
