Until September 22, Luxembourg is transformed with the "LuXembourg 10-Letter Challenge": an original experience that invites you to travel across the country in search of ten letters scattered in iconic places! And for this brilliant concept, we say thank you to LuXembourg – Let’s Make It Happen which is celebrating its 10th anniversary🇱🇺

A LANDSCAPE-SCALE ADVENTURE TO (RE)DISCOVER THE REGION

The concept is simple, but incredibly effective: hit the road, hop on a train (it’s FREE, remember), hop on your bike, or take the whole family along to discover the ten letters and ten must-see spots in the Grand Duchy! Together, the letters spell out the word 🥁🥁🥁 LUXEMBOURG, you guessed it!

From postcard-perfect landscapes to cultural treasures, charming villages, and iconic landmarks, every stop offers a chance to see Luxembourg with fresh eyes. Whether you’re a longtime resident, a newcomer, a cross-border commuter, or simply looking for summer outings, this challenge is a great excuse to explore familiar spots… and some more surprising ones. Solo, with friends, as a couple, or with the kids, everyone moves at their own pace and collects the letters during their summer strolls 🌤️

To find out everything right away, click the button! Otherwise, we'll explain everything in detail right below!

ALL INFO AND ALL SPOTS

HOW DOES IT WORK? (IT'S SUPER EASY)

There's no need to be a professional adventurer or to own a brand new GPS, promised 😉

At each stage, a large letter awaits you. Once there, all you have to do is find the installation, scan the corresponding QR code with your phone and let yourself be guided. Behind each letter lies an exclusive experience that reveals a different facet of Luxembourg and its identity.

And because a treasure hunt without a reward would lack a bit of 🌶️, each letter found allows you to win a prize. You read that right, each letter is a winner ! Participants can collect their surprises at the Luxembourg House, located in the heart of the capital, or at the airport's Pop-Up Store 🛩️

But the real challenge begins for the most motivated : succeeding in collecting the ten different letters ! Explorers who complete the course can then take part in the big raffle to try to win a dream weekend in Luxembourg offered by Visit Luxembourg ! On the agenda: two nights for two people with breakfast, a culinary and discovery experience, as well as a Luxembourg Pass to enjoy even more of the country 🏨 🍽️

A good reason to turn every summer outing into an official mission 🕵🏻‍♀️

BUT WHERE CAN I FIND THESE TEN LETTERS?

Beyond the game, this initiative celebrates everything that makes the Grand Duchy so charming! A fun way to remind us that, despite its small size, Luxembourg is full of treasures that sometimes go unsuspected 🫶🏻

But where are these letters, then?

Our dear Christophe got caught up in the game and wanted to share a few tips with you to help you find the letters more easily and make the most of each spot once you’re there. How kind of him!

The letter L is waiting for you at the National Literature Centre in Mersch 📖
A quick stop in Mersch before resuming the hunt for the next letters!

The first U is hiding near the Chamber of Deputies in Luxembourg City 🏢
Maybe save this stop for last: the game’s gift collection point is only a few metres away. Kill two birds with one stone! And once you’re there, you can take the opportunity to have a little wander around the capital!

For the X, head to the Philharmonie, a true architectural icon of the capital 🎻
After finding the letter, you can take a trip to the nearby Mudam, then head to the park for a little picnic with a view of Luxembourg City. Not a bad plan, is it?

The E can be found at the Schengen Museum, where Europe changed its face 🇪🇺
The perfect opportunity to visit the museum, stroll through the little streets of Schengen and leisurely walk along the Moselle. A stop to savour without rushing, at the Tiny Bar for example, with your feet in the sand and a cocktail in hand!

The M is installed in Dudelange’s pedestrian zone 🚶🏻
Once you’ve found the letter, take the opportunity to explore the shopping streets, make a little detour via the church or even try out the Le’h park’s treetop adventure course.

While the B proudly watches over you from Vianden Castle 🏰
It’s hard to come all this way without visiting the castle! You can also take the chairlift up to the highest point and enjoy the view. And to extend your walk, a hiking trail starts at the foot of the castle and takes you deep into the forest.

To find the O, you’ll have to go through Belval and its Luxembourg Learning Centre 🏭
It’s the perfect time to discover the Blast Furnaces if you haven’t already, or simply enjoy the atmosphere and the great places in the Belval district.

The second U takes you to the heart of Wormeldange’s vineyards, to the famous Wormer Koeppchen 🍇
Get your trainers ready: this stop has to be earned! The hiking trail first takes you winding through the vineyards before gently climbing up to the Wormer Koeppchen and its lovely view over Wormeldange, the vineyards and the Moselle.

The letter R is waiting for you in the historic setting of neimënster 🎭
Take advantage of this stop to discover the Grund and its little treasures. A quick photo stop on the bridge, then a stroll to the Abbey. And if you still have a little energy left, the Casemates and the Rives de Clausen are not far away!

And the G invites you to finish the adventure beside the magnificent Upper Sûre Lake, near Lultzhausen ⛵️
Last letter, last dip? Here, you can go for a swim, paddleboard, enjoy a barbecue spot or simply walk across the dam. And the good news: a car park provides easy access to Lultzhausen.

Behind each of these stops lies a new story to discover and a new way to appreciate the country, letter by letter! It’s also an opportunity to enjoy an advantage few destinations can boast about: free public transport, which makes it easy to connect many of the challenge’s locations!

Ten letters, ten discoveries and a thousand reasons to love Luxembourg, it’s up to you to go and find them!
