A speaker, played by the dancer Samantha van Wissen, narrates and interprets the ballet Giselle, based on the libretto by Théophile Gautier, the music by Adolphe Adam and the original choreography by Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot. With the complicity of a quartet of instrumentalists, she reveals all the facets of what is considered the masterpiece of romantic ballet. After Phèdre, François Gremaud signs the second part of a trilogy devoted to the tragic female figures of the classical living arts. A little theatrical, choreographic and musical gem.
