From 1859, the installation of the Luxembourg station in the territory of the commune of Hollerich led to significant development of the district. The station square alone once hosted no less than 14 hotels! The district is still an important industrial center which develops mainly as a commercial center. The visit reveals the history of commerce in Place de la Gare, Avenue de la Gare, Rue Origer, Place de Paris and Avenue de la Liberté.
