EXIT FROM RESIDENCE OUTSIDE THE WALLS

As part of Passages Transfestival and the Swiss Cultural Center On tour in Metz. In partnership with the Center Pompidou-Metz
“The idea of mixing the arts came very naturally. We imagined a kind of living sculpture made to be worn, something somewhere between a costume and an object that stands on its own. This sculpture made of hair is the starting point of this show. We use body hair as a symbol of destroying established norms. We want to question social impositions on women, [...] injunctions on appearance or behavior. But above all, question ourselves about how these have affected our way of living and thinking. [...] How do we perceive each other? [...] We hear about sorority, but what does that really mean for us today? »
