Deluxe Night is a highlight of the program. That evening, admission to the site and all concerts is free. Only Luxembourg musicians will take to the stage: the internationally renowned band Francis of Delirium, and Luxembourg Song Contest finalists Laura Thorn and Luzac. Barkissa, Oke and Joel Marques will also be present. As part of Deluxe Night, DanceAbility Echternach is offering a structured improvisation that is also open to all visitors.
A free program of activities creates a festival atmosphere in the town over the weekend from 2pm to 6pm. A varied program for young and old is offered on the market square: wooden games from Jeux en bois invite people to play together, clown Uli Morrisey invites to an artistic workshop, DanceAbility Echternach offers a free workshop and Christiane Bernard delights the little ones with face painting. The Circolo stilt walkers bring the town to life, and the Saxitude mobile saxophone quartet lulls it to sleep with their melodies. The market square stage features Authentica and Kinga Rose (Saturday), and Fred Barreto & Nadja Prange and Lazy Louis Blues Duo (Sunday).
DanceAbility Echternach offers a workshop open to all interested parties. DanceAbility is a dance and movement method that enables people of different backgrounds and abilities to discover their own way of moving, and to connect with others and the group. In doing so, participants find a common form of artistic expression, regardless of their different movement possibilities.
