As part of the AU Days in Luxembourg 2025, organized by LUkraine, Kufa invites you to celebrate Ukrainian culture by welcoming one of the best Ukrainian artists, Alyona Alyona!
Alyona Alyona is a Ukrainian rap diva and one of the most popular artists in Ukraine. Formerly a kindergarten teacher, she launched her musical career in 2018 with the release of a video for her ironic track "Fish." In 2019, Alyona released her debut album, "Pushka," which brought Ukrainian rap to European attention. She has performed at numerous European festivals and showcases, sometimes becoming the first Ukrainian woman in the history of certain festivals.
The New York Times named her one of the 15 most exciting new European artists, while The Guardian and Vogue World added her to their music charts. She was also included in the Forbes 30 under 30 European list. In 2022, she released the mini-album "Dai Boh," which includes four tracks recorded with European artists. The music videos for each track have been viewed over a million times on YouTube.
In 2024, Alyona Alyona and singer Jerry Heil were chosen to represent Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Their powerful performance, led by Tanu Muino, impressed fans of the contest, and with great support, they took third place. The song "Teresa & Maria" appeared on the major charts of more than 15 European countries and has remained forever in the hearts of millions of listeners.
Currently, the rapper is one of the three most popular artists in Ukraine based on the number of streams on Spotify and one of the most famous Ukrainian artists in the world. Her solo concerts in Europe, the United States, and Canada are a success, and she has her own audience, always waiting for Alyona Alyona to perform in her country.
