Originally from Chicago, Gerry Hundt is a respected veteran of the city's blues scene, performing regularly at Kingston Mines, Buddy Guy's Legends, and roadhouses in the area. He has recorded albums with Delmark, Blind Pig, and Blue Bella Records, and has headlined the Chicago Blues Festival and Montreal Jazz Festival. In collaboration with roots pillars Tom Lehnert and Renaud Lesire, the Gerry Hundt Trio presents its lively and evocative music to entertain and engage audiences of all sizes. "GET HIP!" is the trio's latest album.
