For this workshop, Aline from CELL (Citizens for Ecological Learning & Living) takes you into the world of the climbing bean! We'll explore its life cycle and its growth cycle throughout the season, discovering a suitable structure in the Canopée garden: it grows wherever it pleases! Did you know that a single plant can grow to over 3 meters tall and support around fifty beans?

Often productive and early, it is typically one of the vegetables loved in summer, it can be eaten green or dried and preserved for the winter.

You'll also discover the magical trio of the Three Sisters, an ancestral cultivation method that comes to us from Latin America: the combination of corn, beans, and squash. More practical magic during the workshop... concluding with the sowing of a row of beans.
