In a brief 5-minute performance, Luxembourgish artist Clio Van Aerde invites you to rediscover the historical site of neimënster. During her residency at neimënster, Clio Van Aerde advanced her research project 'Work It – Poetics of Bodies at Work,' exploring the value of invisible manual labor, functional movement, and physical engagement with tools. Inspired by the idea of intertwining the site's history with her reflections on manual work and connecting them with an increased bodily awareness of space, Clio Van Aerde developed a series of gestural and kinetic scores. Compiled in a booklet, these 'scores' provide the audience with an entry point into her practice. Rather than imposing a perspective, they invite the audience to freely explore these gestures, walks, and reflections, and reinterpret them in their own way, thereby engaging in a dialogue with her approach.
