The bilingual traveling exhibition in French and German hosted at the National Museum in Esch-sur-Alzette delves into the stories and experiences of about 7000 women deported from France and Luxembourg to the Ravensbrück concentration camp. It highlights the diversity of their social and national backgrounds and examines how traditional gender roles influenced their resistance and persecution. The narratives of resistance, detention, and survival are told through selected biographies.
