From the 17th century to today, the arts of music and painting have intersected according to patrons' wishes, through the aesthetic convergences of an era and as a result of artistic encounters. We will therefore take pleasure, guided by Emmanuel Grégoire, in identifying, highlighting, and understanding these coincidences, congruences, or connections between these creative personalities.
Session #1:
To mark the transition between the Renaissance and the Baroque, we will explore MONTEVERDI and CARAVAGGIO.
