In the village of Nothum, during the battles lasting from December 27, 1944, to January 9, 1945, German soldiers initially took refuge in the houses. Then, the American troops followed. The residents suffered greatly during this time. Alain Weiler (Geschichtsfrënn Öewersauer) will guide you and present the five newly installed historical panels in Nothum, depicting the stories of soldiers and the people.
