Xavier Collet, originally from Brussels, is a multifaceted artist. His academic background in biology led him to experiment with various chemical processes used in photography, the field he initially focused on. The art world revealed itself to him further when he discovered the works of Jean-Michel Basquiat, inspiring him to explore new horizons. As a teacher, he became acquainted with various disciplines and engraving techniques. Notably, he created numerous posters for Eklektik Guys events, a collective he co-founded to promote the alternative scene. Currently, he focuses on screen printing, incorporating vibrant colors, 1950s actresses, and comic characters into his artworks.
