At first glance, discussing inequalities in Luxembourg might seem paradoxical: the country is often depicted as one of the wealthiest globally. However, behind this apparent prosperity, economic and social inequalities have been intensifying over the recent years, sparking increasing debates and questions within the society. During this event, we will offer a novel presentation on how inequalities in Luxembourg are currently highlighted through television, digital platforms, social networks, and artificial intelligence. This visual and analytical introduction will be followed by a panel discussion gathering field association members, who will confront their practical experiences with this new media representation. Their testimonies will be further enriched by researchers' reflections and public questions. Simultaneous translation into German.
