Each year for three years, GAL Arelerland has organized a participatory planting day at the Frassem forest garden, next to the arboretum. This edition will focus on intensifying the small fruits zone with hardy peach trees, nanking cherries, elderberries, and other shrubs beneficial to biodiversity. The western zone will host pioneer trees – birches, alders, poplars, and willows; to prepare the ground for the forest garden's future strata.
Good to know
Participants can come between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sandwiches and drinks will be provided.
