Louis-Alphonse Munchen (1819-1881) devoted a significant part of his life to a career spanning various military organizations, including the Royal Dutch Army, the Federal Contingent, the Hunter Corps, and the Volunteer Company, throughout the 19th century. His life was shaped by revolutions, national and organizational engagements, family joys, friendships, and losses. Through unseen and some well-known items, personal stories about the social and military challenges in former Luxembourg are narrated. In Luxembourgish, free admission.
