In Guðný Rósa Ingimarsdóttir's work, artistic activity could be described as arachnid-like, arising from an infinite number of delicate and mysterious connections that cause her production to constantly reconfigure itself, appearing to us, with each new presentation, renewed in both form and materiality. Nothing is ever fixed within a clearly defined temporality, and this is all the more true when approaching her work from the perspective of her photographic practice. The photosensitive surface has always subtly slipped into the interstices of her paper compositions, emerging in various places, as if to better inhabit the space offered to it; a presence that has tended to assert itself over the years and now regularly intrudes upon many of the artist's recent works.
