Daniel, an architect, comes home late from work. His wife Sibylle, a doctor, is annoyed. Tension builds. Suddenly, Franziska, Daniel’s ex-girlfriend, asks to spend the night after a recent breakup. Her unexpected arrival in the middle of the night disrupts the couple’s balance, bringing up questions and old resentments. The play examines, with bitter humor, the extreme limits of a couple pushed to the edge.
