The Economy for the Common Good is described as the practical realization of core human values and care for nature, which are also found in religious and wisdom traditions. Its founder, Christian Felber, created an alternative model in which money and markets serve people and the environment, motivated by a vision of a democratic community prioritizing social cohesion and ecologically responsible business. Raymond Aendekerk, current president of Gemeinwohl-Ökonomie Luxembourg ASBL, and Gregor Waltersdorfer, advisor for Economy for the Common Good, present concrete examples showing how this model works and how it can eventually replace the current competition-based economic system. Today, many organizations and communities worldwide are already successfully applying these principles.
