Discover the secrets of ancient manufacturing! For the closing of the "Éclats de verres" exhibition, the Arlon Archaeological Museum invites you to an exclusive conference dedicated to a fascinating and little-known topic: window glass in Roman times.
First appearing in the first century A.D., Roman glazing still holds some mysteries. How was it made? What was its economic and social impact? Géraldine Frère, Assistant Curator at the Musée du Verre de Charleroi, will present the results of the Specularia experimental archaeology project conducted in 2023.
