The method, named after Australian actor Frederick Matthias Alexander, views the human being as an indivisible unity of body, soul, and mind. The Alexander Technique encourages conscious thinking and helps to recognize and change undesirable habits or patterns. Thoughts, emotions, movements, and actions are interconnected, allowing one to use thinking to prevent tension and the body to foster free thinking.
Led by Mariette Lentz, opera and concert singer as well as lecturer at the Conservatoire de Musique du Nord in Ettelbruck, you will learn how to get through everyday life without unnecessary tension despite stress and pressure. You will also find out how to make your movements easier with a new "body map".
