He graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, the National Higher Institute for Fine Arts (HISK) in Antwerp, and received a doctorate in arts from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
Since 1995, Ronny Delrue has participated in many exhibitions in Belgium and abroad, including at CENTRALE for Contemporary Art (Brussels), S.M.A.K. (Ghent), Chinese European Art Center (Xiamen), and Galeria Weber & Weber (Turin). His works are found in major private and institutional collections. He has been a member of the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts since 2010 and has taught at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent since 2008.
