Two Rohingya children, four-year-old Shafi and his nine-year-old sister Somira, live in a refugee camp in Bangladesh. When their family disappears, they embark alone on a dangerous journey to Malaysia. The film follows their journey, encounters, and the obstacles they must face, showing the realities of exile and survival through children's eyes.
Never leaving the child's perspective, Lost Land tells of a journey filled with waiting, fear, and small gestures, where imagination becomes a refuge in the face of a hostile world.
