A victim of depression and social anxiety, Paul has found an unexpected refuge: he performs household chores for dominant women. He shares his daily life on his Instagram account in an effort to break his sense of loneliness, while building his own world. The documentary follows him in his intimacy, at his computer and during meetings with these women whose well-being brings him joy. Only Denis Côté can film reality in this way, with a mix of genuine empathy and a clinical camera, remaining detached from the BDSM practices depicted on screen. The film questions the very principle of intimacy with Paul, whom the filmmaker follows in his daily life, as Paul has always carefully chosen how he appeared to the outside world.
