In autumn, the viewer turns towards the territories, their visible and invisible layers, their stories blending science and sensitivity. Jérôme Bouchard explores data and the flaws in technological surveying to reveal the strangeness of the place; Émilia Stéfania-Law captures the mineral slowness of the mountains; Frédéric Fourdinier questions our ways of inhabiting and transforming the world. "Adret" illuminates the landscapes as much as it exposes us to them. Between observation, contemplation and challenge, the exhibition encourages us to look differently at our surroundings and to gauge the depth of the fragile, essential bonds that unite us to the earth.
