Things have been happening at the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel: Sonny (Dev Patel) is determined to open a second hotel, but he's also busy preparing for his wedding to Sunaina (Tina Desai). He does, however, have the energetic support of Muriel (Maggie Smith), who is now the hotel's co-manager. Her main task, though, is to listen to the guests' worries and troubles. Madge (Celia Imrie), for example, has two suitors she doesn't want to lose, Norman (Ronald Pickup) and Carol (Diana Hardcastle) are constantly discussing their relationship, and long-term guests Evelyn (Judi Dench) and Douglas (Bill Nighy) have settled into town and even started working. Two newcomers, Guy (Richard Gere) and Lavinia (Tamsin Greig), have also joined the ranks of familiar faces. But Sonny only has one room left…
