An extraordinary and timeless artist. This summer, Nationalmusée um Fëschmaart presents the first major retrospective of the Luxembourgish painter Berthe Brincour (1879-1947), a pioneering figure who remains largely unknown. Nearly 80 years after bequeathing her entire body of work to the State, much of it still remains unexplored and has never before been exhibited in its entirety. Thanks to recent research and restoration work, the museum now highlights her expressive and modern art.
Bon à savoir
Retrospective presented at the National Museum at the Fish Market. Price: €5 (entrance fee). Guided tours available in French, German, English and Luxembourgish on various dates.
