Wednesday Night Fever: BEYOND – Community Builds Spaces
- meet up
- exhibition
On these special Wednesday evenings, Mudam invites visitors to reclaim the museum in fun, convivial and joyful ways, and rediscover its spaces by taking part in Night Fever activities. Through collaborations with local collectives, Mudam connects with Luxembourg’s communities, inviting them to co-host unique events. Free and open to the public, everyone is welcome to participate and engage in these interactive gatherings to expand their museum experience. For this edition, Mudam partners with CELL and the fourth edition of their format BEYOND, to explore how spaces – cultural, public, and private – can be (re)appropriated through citizen participation, collective imagination, and creative practices. The evening invites visitors to reflect on how communities can shape and transform the spaces they inhabit, blending elements of a quiz, informal dialogue, and collective reflection. A participatory installation invites visitors to share ideas and experiences: how can we create more inclusive, accessible, and community-driven spaces? Mudam and CELL aim to bring together diverse publics, connecting social and ecological justice with music, art, and creativity, to inspire new ways of imagining and shaping the world.
