Have you ever heard of cyanotype? It is a very special photographic technique, invented more than 180 years ago! The images are not taken with a camera, but with light and a special chemical solution. This solution is applied to paper, then left to dry. If you then place objects like leaves, feathers, or even homemade stencils on it, and expose them to sunlight, a beautiful blue image appears after washing – as if by magic! Today, we will try this fascinating technique ourselves! We will experiment together, let our creativity flow, and in the end, take our own unique cyanotypes home. We hope for lots of sunshine 😊
