RESONANCE : Two brilliant students from Professor Park NungSaeng's Master of Fine Arts program are in residence at Artskoco. The theme RESONANCE, proposed by Bogyeong Choi, encompasses their two artistic approaches. Biro KIM presents "The Reflection of One in the Other," thus creating a true resonance. Bogyeong draws inspiration from the suffering she experienced, shared with an elephant injured by its mahout during a stay in Thailand. In her works, the elephant now replaces the 19th-century Korean scholar; it itself blends into the landscape. Biro KIM is captivated by the forest, its shadows and reflections, frozen or animated by the waves.
