Looking for a weekend completely out of time? On August 22 and 23, head to Château de Sierck for its grand Château Festival, organized by the Association of the Château des Ducs de Lorraine! This year, the event celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Association of the Château des Ducs de Lorraine with an original theme: “The Château Through the Corridors of Time.” Immerse yourself in history and travel through the different eras that have shaped the fortress: the medieval and Napoleonic periods, and the First and Second World Wars. Costumes, shows, exhibitions, demonstrations, battles and scenes of everyday life will bring the château back to life throughout the weekend. You can also enjoy the medieval and craft market, the food areas and the refreshment stand, and above all, don’t miss the big festive evening on Saturday, which will end with an exceptional fireworks display celebrating the association’s 30th anniversary!
