The opening of Black History Month 2026 will feature the handover between Lascony N.Y.S.Y.M.B, patron of the 2025 edition, and Britanie Lenga, also known as Culture Dorée, patron of BHM 2026. The event highlights knowledge-sharing, culture and the recognition of Afro-descendant histories. Since 2023, BHM Luxembourg has offered talks, meetings, exhibitions, screenings, performances and shared moments to raise awareness of Afro-descendant histories and contributions and encourage dialogue between communities.
