The Two Panoramas of the Lëtzebuerg City Museum

Discover the two panoramas of the City of Luxembourg and the work of painter and scenographer Antoine Fontaine. One depicts the Marché-aux-Herbes, the vibrant heart of the city in the 12th century. The other is located on the first floor of the museum’s recently inaugurated extension. The panoramic lounge offers a view of the Grund and the Rham as they appeared at the dawn of the dismantling of Luxembourg’s fortress in 1867.
