The Luxembourg Choreographic Creation Center - the Trois C-L - continues its efforts to support the contemporary dance scene, despite the difficulties linked to the pandemic. This is evidenced by the new program, entitled “Hors Circuits”.

This is why the cultural institution dedicated to contemporary dance in Luxembourg has chosen to continue its commitment to the dance scene and has decided to launch a new program, entitled “Hors Circuits”. “This program aims to give visibility to national and international choreographers in Luxembourg. This approach of openness is also part of the perspective of our future evolution towards a House of dance, ”explains Bernard Baumgarten.
The program of “Hors Circuits” aims, through the regular presentation of shows in the middle of the month, to encourage the creation and development of the Luxembourg scene, while offering the public the opportunity to discover international works that have not yet been completed. had visibility in Luxembourg. The role of research laboratory is also included in this program, because it will be possible to present the result of leaving residency or even pieces in the process of creation.
The first event presented in this context will take place on May 15 and will allow visitors to discover the work entitled “100 meters per second” by Cognitive Overload. This performative piece will last 5 hours, and the public is invited to discover it by reserving a 30-minute slot. The subject addresses the question of creation and the rendering questions the way in which it is possible to make the process of creating a choreographic and musical work perceptible. Also, the public is invited to observe the performers who, in front of them, learn, compose and perform at the same time. The spectators can come and go as they please in the space of the stage, observe the action unfolding or consult the various documentary sources giving an account of the creative process since the beginning of the performance.
