EXPLORATION STATIONS - 100 REASONS TO TOUCH EVERYTHING
As soon as you walk through the doors of the main hall, you're plunged into another universe: a gigantic space where every nook and cranny hides an experiment to try out. And next to each experiment? A neat little touchscreen in 5 languages. It explains how it works, what you're really observing, and above all how you'll find it in your everyday life: a real bonus!
Nearly 100 interactive stations await you, divided into 10 thematic zones: mechanics, fluids, motors, math, robotics, magnetism, audiovisual, optics, biology and astronomy. Put simply: a big box of curiosities βοΈπ₯½
Our favorites with Marion: try (unsuccessfully) to create a cube with bizarre geometric shapes, handle the world's largest plasma ball, test our reflexes, take on a robot at table soccer or XOXO, have a good laugh in the optical illusions zone and gain height thanks to a suspended chair with pulleys...
And the craziest part? There were so many more to discover. Frankly, it was impossible to get bored! And this was confirmed during our visit: we were surrounded by super-enthusiastic kids who wanted to try out everything! And to be quite honest, we got so caught up in the game that, for a couple of hours, we also rediscovered a bit of our childlike spirit π§πΌ

But at Differdange, they don't just run the stations, they bring science to life in a big way! Every day, you'll be treated to Science Shows hosted by super animators in French, German, Luxembourgish or English.
For our part, we were treated to a short chemistry session and an electrifying glimpse of the electricity show... and it literally made our hair stand on end. Especially me, who was the guinea pig. With both hands on Van de Graaff's famous sphere, you can imagine the state of my hair (with photo, of course). And Marion was locked up in a Faraday cage, while 100,000 volts of lightning grazed her β‘οΈ
But the highlight of the show was undoubtedly the visit to the planetarium, for total immersion in the stars, planets, constellations... In short, magical ππͺ
Ps: check out the show times before your visit and remember to book so you don't miss a thing
Ps bis: sorry for your little ones, but access to the shows is reserved for children aged 6 and over
